As we prepare for another Christmas I’m sure many of you are deciding and finalizing your plans for your Christmas dinner. Perhaps you traditionally have Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, or seafood, and maybe you are bored with the “traditional” fare and want to try something new. In preparation for this Christmas maybe you will consider one of our favorites, a lamb shoulder roast.
While you may be hesitant at trying something new, that it might be too hard or complicated I can tell you this is one of the easiest recipes to prepare and cook especially for how delicious it come out. The hardest part about this recipe is that it cooks for a few hours, and staying in the house and smelling it as it cooks is mouthwatering painful. This Christmas take it easy with this wonderful and easy recipe, and enjoy the Holiday Season.
Lamb Shoulder Roast
1 large clove of garlic minced
1 tbsp flour
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
3-4 lb Shoulder Roast
Combine all ingredients, and rub over the lamb roast. Place the roast on a large sheet of heavy duty foil, wrap and secure the foil around the roast. Place in a shallow roasting pan. Roast for three hours at 425. For the last 30 minutes of cooking open the foil to expose the lamb roast.
Pair with your favorite side dishes, such as baked potatoes, salad, and French bread.
